Having had a
wonderful celebration of our 100th Anniversary and a productive
annual plant sale (both this last May), and with the conclusion of
our summer activities we look forward to the our
fall 2023 meetings under the leadership of BGC President, Sandy Edmondson.

Our fall
schedule actually begins with our final summer like meeting--a
September 22nd tour of a member's garden. Then we begin our indoor
meetings for the rest of the fall. See our Meetings and
Programs page for details.
(Please note special dates for February and
December meetings!)
Our indoor meetings are
held at the Left Hand
Grange No. 9, in Niwot. These meetings are on the third Friday
of the month (except for December) and are from from 1 PM to 3 PM. We meet at the
Left Hand Grange No. 9 in October, November, and December, and February, March, April, and May.
These meetings have speakers presenting on horticultural
topics.
The Boulder
Garden Club is a member of the Colorado State Federation of Garden
Clubs and the National Federation of Garden Clubs. A portion of your
Boulder Garden Club dues goes to these organizations.
Our civic and
charitable activities are described on our Civic Projects page.
Further
information and club history may be found on our
More Information page.
Please note that
the Boulder Garden Club is a club of individuals interested in
gardening. We can not provide advice or services or make
recommendation on businesses or services. Probably, your best and
perhaps first resource for guidance on plants, care, and conditions
should be the Boulder County Horticultural Agent at the Boulder
County Extension Office in Longmont.
BACKGROUND: The Boulder Garden Club
is the oldest garden club in Colorado. It was first founded
in 1923 to increase knowledge of gardening and to
stimulate and promote interest in home gardens, civic
projects, and beautification of the Boulder area. We celebrated our
centennial in 2023!
In 1930, the Boulder
Garden Club became a member of the
National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc., Rocky Mountain Region,
and the Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., Northern
District.
